Elara Global Fertility
Ethics principles and rules of engagement.
Elara Global Fertility works with intended parents, surrogates, donors, clinics, attorneys, and partners through a single standard. The Family Code sets the ethical ground rules for how we coordinate, communicate, and protect people throughout a family-building journey.
This is not marketing language. It is the framework we use to make decisions, handle edge cases, and prevent gray practices.
Core ethics principles
Our ethical principles guide how we coordinate each process with clarity, privacy, dignity, and professional boundaries.
We treat intended parents, surrogates, donors, and newborns as people first, never as transactions. We coordinate in a way that preserves privacy, reduces pressure, and supports informed decision-making.
We support a process where consent is clear, documented, and revisited when circumstances change. We do not “rush signatures” or normalize confusion. We coordinate access to independent professionals so parties can understand what they are agreeing to.
We do not tolerate pressure, manipulation, or financial leverage to force decisions. We avoid incentives and behaviors that create hidden dependency or imbalance. We escalate concerns when any party’s autonomy appears compromised.
We prioritize physical and emotional safety in program planning and escalation. We coordinate with licensed clinics and independent counsel to ensure that risk discussions, medical guidance, and legal implications are handled by the proper professionals.
Elara Global Fertility is a coordination and concierge service. Medical services are delivered by licensed clinics and physicians. Legal services are delivered by independent licensed attorneys. Escrow services are delivered by the escrow provider when selected. We do not blur professional boundaries.
We keep the service model and payment flows unambiguous. We do not hide markups, referral kickbacks, or “bundled” costs that obscure who is paid for what. When a cost belongs to a third party, it is presented as such.
We support financial structures that reduce risk and increase clarity. In VIP Signature, funds may be governed through an independent escrow provider, with releases tied to documented milestones. In Direct Pay, the client pays clinics and providers directly and Elara Global Fertility charges only a coordination fee.
We reject practices that commoditize or exploit surrogates or donors. We coordinate with an expectation of ethical screening, appropriate support, and respect for each person’s wellbeing and boundaries.
We support independent counsel and clear legal workflows. We do not position ourselves as a substitute for legal advice, and we do not ask any party to proceed without the opportunity for independent legal review.
We coordinate with confidentiality as a default. We minimize sharing to what is necessary, limit access to sensitive information, and document permissions. We use secure documentation workflows and controlled access practices.
We do not promise medical outcomes, legal results, or timelines. We communicate risk thoughtfully, including what is uncertain and what requires professional assessment. We do not use fear or pressure to influence decisions.
We treat clients and participants with respect regardless of marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, nationality, ethnicity, religion, or disability, within the legal constraints of the applicable jurisdiction and provider policies.
We plan with the future child’s welfare in mind. We coordinate in a way that supports safe care pathways, responsible documentation, and thoughtful post-birth administration.
We keep a structured escalation path for concerns involving safety, consent, privacy, billing integrity, or professional boundaries. We document issues, elevate appropriately, and pause coordination when required to protect people and the process.
